I have to say that your daughter should be commended for even thinking about doing something this noble. I might add that there are many avenues a degree in ASL (American Sign Language) could take her. Starting young will give her a heads up because it's much harder to become proficient at it than you would think. The colleges that offer degrees are few and far between, but many community colleges or universities should have the beginner classes available.
