Maybe I'm not reading this right, but it doesn't really sound to me like there is anything wrong? Did you just recently move into this apartment, or have you always been there and he's just suddenly acquired this fear of the floor? If you've just moved then I would say his behavior is perfectly normal - any change in their routine can result in the behaviors your described (unwillingness to eat, drink, etc.) and he may just be unsure of where he is supposed to do his business now. Is he pee pad trained?
My dog Oscar is a big boob about the wood floors in my apartment as well. I have two huge area rugs in the main living area and he's fine on them, he seems to pick and choose when he is okay with walking throughout the rest of the apartment though. He'll be fine for a couple months, then one day he'll just stop walking on them. For the past couple weeks he's developed an aversion to one little 3 foot section of flooring in particular - the section right before the carpet starts. He paces back and forth in front of the wall as if he's planning how to get across - then he MOONWALKS - he turns around and seriously does like a moonwalk backwards onto the carpet.
ANYWAYS... the sounds that his stomach are making sound normal as well. Sounds like normal digestion sounds.
Like I said I'm not sure what you were asking - it doesn't sound to me like your dog has any signs of depression. |
