My Chanel who never EVER gets sick had the same symptoms 2 weeks ago -
2 different vet visits and 10 butt baths in ONE day - she is finally back to feeling better -
the 1st vet did give her a shot to settle her tummy like yours did so that sounds right to me - but he also put her on an antibiotic - and when I went to my other vet (my longtime vet where I used to live) because she still threw up ...He prescribed Reglan and told me to STOP the antibiotic - I trust him because he's known her since she was a baby and he's awesome -
She's much better now but did still get sick a few times on the meds - We also had bloodwork done and IF you feel there is more going on - do that too. I can't say it's a cure but it gives your vet more to work with.
I hope your Baby feels better - it's so hard seeing them sick. |
