Default Update

Just wanted to give you all an update:

My husband and I have decided NOT to purchase another puppy from this breeder. We feel that she is unethical, and is scheming to get "rid" of this multi-sired litter as yorkies before they show any signs of the mixed breed.

We consider ourselves lucky to have our little girl, Emma, and love her to pieces, but due to the unfortunate circumstances with her breeder, will not be getting her a blood sister. We will continue to look for a possible "sister" for her in the next 2-6 months through another breeder.

I have a comment in to AKC regarding this, and will follow up with them to make sure they take action against this breeder. I did find out that it's only $2 a puppy, plus the normal litter fees to have the litter DNA'ed, and $20 for each parent. Seems like a very small amount to find out, and I can't believe the breeder is bypassing this step. It IS much more expensive to register a multi-sired litter, but I feel she is more than making up for that anyway with her raised prices. I will keep you all posted on what if any action is taken, and what answers they give me.
