I just talked to my vet this morning about bathing Zoey who had her healthy puppies on Thursday night to early Friday morning. He said to go ahead and give her a full bath. Wipes were not cutting it for me! He even said I could use her usual shampoo (lavendar). I had to make sure she was blow dried immediately after her bath so that she does not get cold. I gave her a good bath, blow dried her anf off she went to nurse! The puppies latched on with no hesitation. It is now hours later and they still have no problem nursing!
