i am no expert but my muffie stopped nursing at 4 weeks and i was feeding the puppies soft puppy food. i went to the vet and she stated they were so healthy, she felt they could go at 7 weeks (of course i would not do this). i asked her why she felt they could leave and not stay for the 12 weeks. the vet said if they are healthy and eating on their own, it is good to get them to their new homes asap so the new parents can train them to what fits for them. a puppy learns quickly and becomes familiar with certain habits early, before 12 weeks, and is very hard to change when they go to the new home.

i found this very interesting.
what do you think?
