He tried to jump in my car the first time I saw him. He was skinny and matted. I did many days of "spying" and evaluating this situation. I finally realized he was always out there day and NIGHT. I went to a couple doors the day I finally had had enough. I was told by the residents that he wandered the parking lot every day...and that he "belonged" to a family on the top level. Needless to say this little guy made his way to the yorkshire terrier national rescue which I am a guardian angel and contributor to. He now lives with a wonderful couple and doesn't have to wander around crowded parking lots in the hot summer searching for food and love.
Thanks YTNR! And especially Sandy! |
Just wanted to add, that we never knew this little guy's real name, but his new family named him "Bandit" because he stole their hearts they said! I was happy to get to see Sandy and Bandit at the NC yorkie meetup earlier this year and I hope to get to see them again soon the end of this month at the next one! Happy endings....they do my heart good!
