I rescued a yorkie years ago in an apartment complex in NC. I had a friend who lived there at the time. Every time I'd visit I kept seeing this little guy running around all over the PARKING LOT! He tried to jump in my car the first time I saw him. He was skinny and matted. I did many days of "spying" and evaluating this situation. I finally realized he was always out there day and NIGHT. I went to a couple doors the day I finally had had enough. I was told by the residents that he wandered the parking lot every day...and that he "belonged" to a family on the top level. Needless to say this little guy made his way to the yorkshire terrier national rescue which I am a guardian angel and contributor to. He now lives with a wonderful couple and doesn't have to wander around crowded parking lots in the hot summer searching for food and love.

Thanks YTNR! And especially Sandy!
Just wanted to add, that we never knew this little guy's real name, but his new family named him "Bandit" because he stole their hearts they said! I was happy to get to see Sandy and Bandit at the NC yorkie meetup earlier this year and I hope to get to see them again soon the end of this month at the next one! Happy endings....they do my heart good!
