She tried to explain to her that she was just trying to get it out of the road to keep it from getting hurt. She said she was almost tempted to put her in the car and take off with her. That she figured they weren't taking very good care of it anyways.
She was so pissed. Some people are just so whats the word STUPID!!!!!, when it comes to the care of their animals I told my sister that she should get their address and report them to the local animal shelter or humane society and let them go check it out. I don't know if she has yet or not.
Sorry I was just as mad as her and though I would vent a little. |
I do not blame her for being PO.
I rescued a yorkie years ago in an apartment complex in NC. I had a friend who lived there at the time. Every time I'd visit I kept seeing this little guy running around all over the PARKING LOT! He tried to jump in my car the first time I saw him. He was skinny and matted. I did many days of "spying" and evaluating this situation. I finally realized he was always out there day and NIGHT. I went to a couple doors the day I finally had had enough. I was told by the residents that he wandered the parking lot every day...and that he "belonged" to a family on the top level. Needless to say this little guy made his way to the yorkshire terrier national rescue which I am a guardian angel and contributor to. He now lives with a wonderful couple and doesn't have to wander around crowded parking lots in the hot summer searching for food and love.
Thanks YTNR! And especially Sandy!
