First of all. dogs don't understand time outs, or delayed punishment. If you catch them in the act a firm NO, will be all the punishment needed. If you don't catch them in the act then forget it.
Second just because they are trained in one room of the house, does not mean they are trained in another room. keep them cnfined to a amaller area with a hard surface floor until there are NO accidents, then gradually expand. Mine ar 8 and 10 months old, and I still don't give them the run of the house. |
