Last night at the homes across the street from me, a little white doggy was funny around outside. There are coyotes, deer, and Lord knows what other wild animals in the forest right NEXT to their house! When Rocky saw this dog he ran up to him, and the dog ran to his front door and started barking, and someone let him in. I just couldn't believe someone would let their dog free-roam like that, number one because all dogs here have to be leashed, and number 2 (but most importantly) because of the wild animals. If I see these neighbors I am going to inform them of the animals. |
What did they think was going to happen.
We have a big dog Rudy that has the run of our street he is such a sweetheart doesn't bother anyone and will bark when he hears or sees something or someone that does not belong. He belongs to one house but, they really don't take very good care of him. So he is kind of the neighborhood dog. Our neighbors at the top of the street take care of him alot. They buy food for him and she keeps food and water out for him on their front porch and he will either sleep on their front porch or under one of their decks.
Animal control knows about him and knows that he won't hurt anyone or anything(so far), the gentlemen from animal control that is responsible for this area doesn't bother Rudy but, he has told the owners that if he were to get a call on him that he couldn't stay out any longer.
I honestly don't think that the owners care much for him. Our neighbors that keep him feed most of the time are planning on taking him and getting him bathed to get rid of possibly any fleas and letting him stay in their house this winter. The other neighbors won't care at all. Their druggies anyway sometimes I don't know that they even think they have a dog.
Anyway sorry again for rambling.
