Giardia cannot always be seen in fecal exams, but the Metronidazole should take care of that and doesn't usually cause reactions. Never have heard of diarsnyl. I think I would feed boiled hamburger or skinless chicken and white rice. Mash it up well so she is eating the rice. I would also go get some Benebac (beneficial bacteria sold in tubes - inexpensive) to restore the good bacteria the antibiotics kills off. I would also give her Pedialyte (infant electrolyte solution) to restore the electrolyte imbalance caused by diarrhea. Buy the single serving plain flavored bottles because it has to be discarded 48 hours after opening.

If you are able to get her to eat and drink the Pedialyte and she doesn't improve within the next 48 hours I would take her back to the vet. He did seem to cover the bases with the treatment at least for now.
