Alright people, I am having an issue. Last week Baby had some blood in her stool so I called my vet, they said most likely no big deal, call if it continues. The next day she has diarrhea 3 times and then the next day I woke up to her vomiting and refusing to eat anything, even treats.
So I call the vet and they say to just bring in a stool sample. I tell them that my Baby needs to be seen today (I was really worried about her becoming dehydrated... among other things.) So I get an appointment and they check her stool, say that everything is fine with it and then do an exam, checking her stomach and her temp... both are fine. She had been to the vet a week before and had lost 4 ounces in a week.. which is a lot considering she only weighs 6 lbs 4 ounces. That is a lot of weight to lose in a week. The vet tells me to start feeding her hamburger and rice for the next three days. They also gave her a shot of METOCLOPRAMIDE/REGLAN, METRONIDAZOLE (pill form to take for 6 days) and a syringe with DIARSNYL (to be administered twice daily, it's like a paste that she eats).
So everything has been going fine and then today I noticed she vomited once while I was at work, and had bloody/ mucosy (sp?) diarrhea again.
NOw I hate to panic but I looked online and found that there is a common bacteria.. for lack of better words.. anyways it's called HEMORRHAGIC GASTRIC ENTERITIS. Here is a link with more info about it

So now I need to know what to do? Should I change vets because I feel mine might not be doing a good enough job, or am I panicing? Can anyone give me some advice PLEASE! Thanks so much.
