I have 2 yorkie girls from the same breeder, different parents. Sadie is 2 1/2 yrs old and Lillie is 17 wks old...They didn't even come CLOSE to looking the same..Sadie (I got at 6 wks old....I know....wayyyy to young) and her coat was shorter...I actually had people ask me if she was a rottie! which is funny because the breeder also breeds rotties...anyway Lillie was 8 wks when I got her and her coat was long and fluffy (may be a difficult adult coat to deal with)...Sadie now has a silky coat very, very easy to take care of...Lillie is hard to brush, 1 being she is a puppy and 2 because her adult coat is coming in and the puppy coat gets a little knotted...The only thing that changed on Sadie was her face...she has a beautiful gold face and legs...her body color never changed...her body is black...Lillie had already started changing when I got her...her little head almost looks bald because it is so silver which I know from research should turn into gold or tan...you can even see the silver at her roots on her back....So with all this being said...we are all indivuals and will be what we are...I think you furbaby is adorable and you shouldn't worry about her looks...I have read that it can take up to 2 years for their adult coat to come in...I certainly wouldn't think of getting rid of her because of her coat...JMO
