I'm keeping you and Gia in my prayers and thoughts....what a thing to happen! Such a sweet baby too! But at least she's eating...that's a GOOD thing, IMO. Just let her sleep, that has to help her immune system too. I hope she recoves quickly from this. I personally wouldn't bring a new companion home right now, only b/c you have enough to deal with with Gia, and she needs your full attention right now....but maybe you're better than I am with new pets!
