As for the throw rugs. DON'T DO IT!!!!! When I first got Molly she thought every soft thing on the floor was for pottying. She even peed on a paper towel that had fell in the floor. So I took all of the rugs up and washed them. She is good to go to the pad every time. She will poop next to it if there it a pee pee spot already there.I thought we were home free so last week I bought a new rug to go in front of the kitchen sink. Molly panced her fanny right over and peed right on it. So I say No to rugs. We Just wear socks all the time. That hard wood is chilly on the toes.
