i m no expert and dont have many answers and i have never bred small breeds but i remeber when we bred shelties which arent real big that at 5 weeks was normal to wean, and i think that some small breeds should stay w/ the parents until maybe 10-12weeks but the legal age that i know of to sell them is 8 weeks nothing under 8 weeks. because from 5-8 weeks is when the momma dog does socialization w/ her puppies. and yes i would be leary about the oops that happened and it doesnt make a lot of sense that she is charging more, because she already know that an accident occured and you can breed a yorkie w/ a poodle for example and then another yorkies and you could get yorkies and yorkie-poos. and most breeders that have repeat customers to offer discounts mine did, but i purchased mixed breeds from the same line . the first time i bought from here was 250.00 in 2002 for yorkie-pom and in 2005 i came back and that same line was $500.00 and i got 100.00 off.. |
