Our two girls Gypsy Rose and Gizzie Chavi have their full tails and they are very proud of them. It is illegal for the breeder to dock the tails in Wales - it must be carried out by a vet. I would say that maybe more have undocked tails over here now in recent years but I still had to phone a few breeders 2 years ago when searching for a yorkie to find a good one who didn't dock as that was what we wanted. Our previous two yorkies had docked tails and they looked very cute too! (in those days nearly all had docked tails, they would have been 17 years old now). I may be wrong but I suspect that in the USA most potential buyers expect the tails docked?
