Only problem with this is now a lot of banks have gone to charging a $5 or more fee when cashing a check from someone at their bank UNLESS you also have an account there!! I think this is ridiculous and rude!! Especially when it is something like a birthday check or something like that...but in any case I would be offended if I wrote a check to someone who tried to cash it at my bank and got charged $5!!
