Doortega: I would contact the doctor for advice on the flu shot. I wouldn't think it would be too late to get it but....his doctor can advise best

Personally, I don't get the flu shot and I work in a hospital (not with direct patient care, though). It's not that I'm afraid of needles cause heaven knows when I'm sick, I want the shot!! It just seems to me that each year they administer the flu shot, it's a different strain that affects everyone....so, I just take my chances and so far *knocks on wood* I've been lucky.
