I worry that giving Gracie too many treats will make her not want to eat her regular food, and might make her fat. Also, there is a point in training when we should be transitioning from a food treat to a praise or play treat to reward good behavior. Otherwise, the dog will only follow a command if they can detect that a treat is present. This is what my puppy school teacher said. Just some food for thought.
