Thanks again Deana.
I understand why you are so careful with your lines, but not all of us are going to turn around and stab you in the back.
I think that if you go back and read the ad, the dog she has posted is not from her breedings, he just didn't have the look they wanted, so is it wrong to post a dog for sale on this forum because it has CH lines, that it might be a great asset to someone elses family? What happened to the "breeders helping other breeders" Seems like all that some of you are doing is condeming.
Oh and by the way, back to the breeders helping other breeders, Yorkie Rose(FL) or DazzlinYT(TN) either one of you know of someone that lives somewhat near AL that would teach me proper show grooming-topknots, ect.
Unfortunatly WV is just to far for me to go at this time. |
Okay this one I have to reply to ........ I am sure glad you are one of the " Lucky Ones " !! As I am sure there are others that are not so LUCKY ! In particular there is a nice couple in Canada that recently bought a male from Prestigious , was this male SHOW as promised ? NO it is a 2.2 pound dog with a terrible roach and a nasty temparment to boot! He can not be used for breeding or for show in Canada , he is too small he is not going to meet the standard , he is so off in personality he most likely will not even show- so what should Prestigious do with this male they advertise on here for sale ?? Send him to CANDA and make right one situation before jumping into another - good money was sent LONG in advance of this dog ever being deemed as " Show Quality " as if you could determin show quality at 6 weeks of age ?? - the dog has no reg papers, and no identification ... it goes on - so what would I say - send this male to CAnada and clear this mess up
As for advertising on this forum , it is simple - when you want to place a dog quick and without much care , place it on here - someone unknowingly will grab the dog and the money is sent , easy !
As for bashing the YTCA - and the Reputiable breeders that drip blood for these dogs when needed, there is nothing you can say , they do what is best for the dog - Bottom Line - nothing else matters, and this my listeners is a trait we should all adopt !!! There is a differance between prodoucing to market and prodoucing to imporve the breed, show the results to many many thousands of dollars , and pet the rest with strick contracts- the ethical hobbiest who places their lives into this , does not seek money - NEWS FLASH - at the end of the day there is no surplus there is a deficit, and the love still goes on , and the shows go forward and the breed thrives with imporvement - this is what it is all about - its not about bashing , money , quick sales to whoever will take the first bite, its about dedication and sacrifice . The YTCA is a group of dedicated people whos goal is to protect the breed , and the members should follow and the majority do !
