I put break-away buckles on some of the collars I make and do recommend them for furkids who wear collars all of the time.
HOWEVER, it takes a considerable amount of pulling and twisting for the collar to break loose. Please don't depend upon the break-away collars keeping our furkid's delicate trachea area safe
