If that's the case... then yes. Raise hell. I don't know that they will give you money to buy another yorkie, but what they have done is wrong. I would demand that another vet do an autopsy. And if they sent the heart off to be further checked, demand to see the report. Don't just take their word for it. It really sounds like they are trying to cover their hiney.
