i did have an accident with it about a week ago! LILO was chewing on her bully stick ( the 5" braided one) and at one moment she run up to me, in total chaos. I had no clue what happened, but I saw that she was chocking on a pice of it! somehow she chew up about 1/2 inch piece out and now it was stuck to the top of her mouth, blocking her airways. ( just like when you eat a hard candy) I automatically put my finger in her mouth to get it out, but she was in such a panic, that she started to bite my fingers!!! But after few seconds I was able to hold her down to get it out!
now when I buy a bully stick, she can only eat it only if I'm holding it for her, and she prefers it this way too. |
