OMG why don't these newbie pilots TAKE AN EXPERIENCED PILOT with them !! This so remind me of John Kennedy - that boy had no business flying at night & it was a tragic loss

but his fault....It takes many many hours of training to be Instrument Rated (for night flying etc) but the world lost a very smart
gorgeous man that day John Kennedy crashed.....
And today....if this guy today was only flying a year - he should have been following landmarks - and I seriously doubt any tall buildings in Manhatten are landmarks - ususally it's highways....and with the air restrictions - he had to be WAY off course ...I wonder what was wrong with him ....does anyone think it was suicide ?
edited to add - HUGS JEN !!! Try to put those awful memories aside....I know it's got to be hard but please don't make yourself sick over this - it really sounds like a horrible accident.
