YorkiesRule: We so much understand your concern. The first day of the surgery Lexis will sleep most of the time and may not even eat. Cosita only had a zip of water at 10pm and that was it. But next day she ate like a horse as soon as she got up. She was still in the sleeping mode most of the day, but she felt up to playing when she could. About the evening of that second day, I could say she was almost back to normal. Lexis would start jumping and play tag, but you need to tell him "no, no, need to take it easy for few days". Of course he does not know what that means, so you just try to settle him down.
You can expect:
First day he would look lifeless :-(
Second, half sleepy but still wanting to play every now and then.
Third, He will be back to normal .. just watch his jerky movements.
Look for: Swelling and Redness.
Babbie, This morning I just said, "Cosita wanna a good treat? open your mouth", and I put the dropper and squeezed it really fast and in not time she had swallowed it LOL... She was looking at me like: "What that h*** did just happen?!!!" LOL Then I gave her the yiammi liver treats. I will try tomorrow and see is it works again.
Thanks guys for all your input. You and Yorkies Rock!!!
