There are alot of un-educated new people in EVERY breed. The "breeders" on the forum should have a little more compassion for the new folks...because our breed's preservence lies in their hands if they are determined to become a breeder whether we like it or not. Why not lend a hand instead of ridiculing all the time. I for one try my best to help out new people all the time on the education of this breed. But in all honesty I do it in PM's and emails rather than have them put through the ringer over and over publicly. I'm all for education...and have a strong understanding that if I want to continue on in the world of yorkies to the best of my ability I MUST help those when I see a true need, if not it's doing NOTHING to help the breed in the end. Being a smart elic to a new person really gets no where and does nothing for our breed when all is said and done. |
I think PMing a person to point out thier mistakes is an excellent idea. It's the public belittleing and poking fun at a person for asking an innocent question that makes them run off.
Yorkieshadow called it right the chuckling lol this and LOL that, is humiliating.
I'm sure you've all noticed, the originasl poster has never been back. and the only thing she took away with her is that YT is filled with a bunch of snobs.
