Poor Mikie! What a horrible life he had. And what an angel you are for rescuing him and giving him all the love and care he never had. I have absolutely no advice on Mikie's problem, but one thing popped into my head. I don't know if it's even possible, but could he be getting excited but not able to fully extend (pardon my lack of knowledge of proper terms in this area). Just a thought since it goes away and there are no other problems. I am sure someone will have better advice or information for you. There are many breeders who can help.
