Ava will be just fine, its just like I told you IV meds, nothing to eat or drink and pain meds, even when I have come home after my hospital stays my enzymes are up for awhile and I am usually so hungry but hav eto start off with really really bland stuff, when tht organ gets inflamed, its hot and it hurts and tht is why we dont eat anything, so the pancreas does not have to work, its job is to put out enzymes tht break down our food, so when we dont eat, it gets to rest, and the slower you introduse bland food the less the pancreas will have to work even though I am sure she is hungry, even when we drink things the pancreas has to work, trust me like I said I have had my fair share of human hospital admits with this nasty disease and as a nurse take care of humans all the time with it and it is a rough thing to fight but it is something tht she will get over and be back to new, it just takes time,look at it this way, enjoy the calm lovin why you can get it cause in no time she will be back to her playful self and if she is anyting like Ty sometimes I have to chase him down to get some sweet puppy time. You and your hubby have done everything right..........tht is proably the only time I will know wht to do, if is Ty gets sick,,,,,,,,,,,,,knock on wood............anything else I jump on here and these awsome folks guide me right thru it..........it really stinks tht it happened,but she is on her way......just give her lots of rest and love and dont worry about her levels, they have to get high to get to the point of where she ended up and they will be comming down everyday just watch what she eats.........
