The Mother Club (YTCA), Regional Club (BYTC) and an All Breed Club. I started out joining the Regional Club, because I wanted to know more about the Yorkshire Terrier from people that knew the breed. After a few years, I got bitten by the show bug, started exhibiting, then joined the all breed club. Learned as much as I could possibly absorb. Applied to the mother club before I ever began my breeding program. All 3 groups are great. But as in everything in life you only get out of it, what you put into it.
