The pet yorkie/show yorkie comment is the reason people feel validated breeding the poor quality specimens we see abounding everywhere to the point that there are oodles of threads with the question "does this look like a yorkie"....and usually done without the slightest clue of the health history of the pedigree. These comments do a huge disservice to the breed and are a disappointment to see.

Chocolate, blonde and parti yorkies all are genetically defective. And Yes I would breed any of them as long as they displayed no signs of health defects. What is wrong with that?
