I really want to believe her, and at this point it almost doesn't matter because I'm attached to him, but I'd really like to know. I guess my question for you all is if anyone has heard of anything like this before, a yorkie with shorter hair. I'm soure it's possible, but I'd just like to know your thoughts on this. Do you have a picture? Some yorkies have very slow growing silk coats....some yorkies facial furnishings tend to break off very easily. I have one little girl that when I bought her at 12 weeks old, she looked like she had mange. She has the most gorgeous silk coat now (although silver blue) and the most gorgeous gold. I have another boy that didn't start growing coat until he was 18 months old. He now has the most gorgeous Specials dark steel blue coat that drags to ground and beyond. Remember yorkies aren't in full coat until approximately the age of 2.
