Of the 4 Yorkies in our family, the females are definately more the alpha-dogs. I wouldn't really call them aggressive, but they have no problem letting other dogs know that they are in charge. Our female Yorkie is definately boss over our female Bassett, even though we had the Bassett first.
The 2 males are very laid back.
