I used to own a hair salon and people would get hundreds of dollars worth of services and write bad checks. After a few I figured out that if it was over 50 dollars I would take it to their bank and cash it. That way if the money wasn't there then i could go back another day. They let you do this three times. However, I agree with the people saying not to write checks on your account if your not sure if the check has cleared. Also you shouldn't start spending a deposit until the puppy is picked up. I know that is hard but, people change thier minds or do stupid things. I hate it that you have had to go through this. Next time please check thier bank before you spend the money.
