you should know you have the money to write checks in your account reguardless of what happens. that's awful that someone would do that to you or anyone for that matter but it's not ALL her fault it's partly yours also.she should help pay at least half the fees personally i would have waited for the check to clear before i spent the money...but i don't trust everyone at face value..it's pretty sad when you can't trust your fellow man/woman at the very least it could be a good thing ,your puppy didn't go to someone who cannot afford them which means they wouldn't be able to provide for them properly. she seems really irresponsible ...expecting her parents to pay for a puppy she wants and telling you basically too bad because she canceled that check she should be held responsible somehow to learn a lesson. with that said ,sorry that happened to you
