problem This is how this breeder sees the situation...YOU spent money that was not yours to spend. Oh, perhaps a deposit is considered yours in the eyes of the law, but a wise breeder never considers the money theirs until the guarantee expires...for me that is a year. You can spend the money, but better make sure you have an account for a genetic problem...it can happen.
Never count your chickens until the eggs hatch...saves alot of "insuffient funds" charges...sorry it happened, but you are wiser now...always expect potential buyers to do all sorts of stupid, uncaring things..
I always return deposits if the sale falls through anyway and I think a wise breeder does this...I am not out any money by returning a deposit and I will never force anyone to take a puppy...in fact I don't want deal with people like this...don't stoop to her level.
