First, you are learning.....get some books to learn about these little munchkins. You can look at the newspaper, but you will still need someone to go with you to look......I have not had a lot of luck finding anything in the newspaper....but then I want to show......so,. who knows you may have better luck.
Seems there are quite a few YT'ers here that live in your state......see if you can search for members living near you.
One thing, this is a big responsibility for a 16 year old. What happens to the puppy when you need to go on a date? Or on your Senior trip? Sounds like your sweet Mom will help you....that is great.....but, remember these little babies are just that......little babies......ok, ok....I will quit preaching....
