JeanieK, I imagine that my comment will be deemed 'insulting' also but I certainly hope that you are not suggesting that it is okay to breed yorkies with genetic defects if they are 'healthy'.
The pet yorkie/show yorkie comment is the reason people feel validated breeding the poor quality specimens we see abounding everywhere to the point that there are oodles of threads with the question "does this look like a yorkie"....and usually done without the slightest clue of the health history of the pedigree. These comments do a huge disservice to the breed and are a disappointment to see.
