If he said that there is a chance it could be a UTI he should have given you antibiotics! It could be early and he just isn't displaying other symptoms and the earlier you catch UTI's the better...like above posts stated they can get BAD!! And a course of antibiotics really wouldn't hurt anything if it turns out not to be an infection on the other hand three weeks of a UTI could do lots of damage! I wish you and your little one luck...I would call the vet back and ask him about it again or take him to another vet. I certainly will keep you both in my thoughts and hope he's fine soon!!
