I went to visit a several grooming places before I decided where I wanted to take our Mia. I finally decided on Sniffany & Co (after visiting on 3 different occasions) - it's a store with clothes, bakery and grooming. They have a glass window so the whole grooming area is plain view!!! I specifically told them that I wanted to stay while she was groomed and they said "fine" but they did suggest that I make it for the
first one in the morning - which I did. I went in the back with Mia and the groomer for quite a while, but then decided to go back in the front where the store was and browse around. I could see Mia & she could see me. It was great. She behaved better than when I groom her!
They only charged me $30.00 and she did everything!!! I took a list that Vi posted so I could make sure I had everything covered (from anal gland expressing to plucking the hairs in her ears).
I checked out a different groomer right down the street from me, and I could tell when I walked in that I wasn't going to leave my baby there. I could see that the tub was dirty and it was mostly large dogs (which I love) but I decided that I wanted to go somewhere that does mostly small dogs. Hope this helps.
