We don't have any big dogs at this time but we love them. My daugther has fallen completely in LOVE with Great Danes from being around them at dog shows. I have a "feeling" as she comes closer to her teen years that we may add one into our little world here in the future...hee hee.
We've looked into ways on how to build proper runs for such huge dogs. I'm also putting my "show mobile" aka "the blaze mobile, chevy blazer" up for sale and I'm looking for a van. It will take time and money to get her into Danes...but if she continues to show the interest I want her to have it.
We saw the most beautiful one recently at a show with a little girl who was maybe 11. The dog was so huge compared to the girl, but man did they work together nicely. I think they are truly the gentle giants. If I'm not careful my daughter is going to turn our property into an all breed training center
