I've learned to get along without antidepressants, because now Maddie takes care of that!
I've learned I can live in a "Not so tidy home." My daughter laughed and made a comment one day when she was here. She said, "Your house was always so neat and tidy until you got Maddie." There's always toys strewn from one end of the house to the other! Also my car which I always kept sparkling clean...now has nose prints all over the windows! I can live with that!
I've learned that I can spend money on Maddie without blinking an eye, but buying anything for myself, it darn well better be on sale or clearance!
I've learned that being an owner of a yorkie, the smiles and laughter they give are neverending.
I know there's lots more I could mention and I'll say ditto to all the other posts!!! I'm sure we can relate to most of them! I'll be coming back to this thread to read...such fun! |
