This is ironic because we have a big black lab (Luke - who weighs 99lbs) and a German Shepard (Sophie).

They both shed, but labs shed more. We have had Labs all of our lives and love them. Their hair, that is another story! Both our big dogs sleep inside at night and every morning, we sweep a pile of hair (yes, about the size of Mojo).

We brush and groom often, but they still shed. I haven't found any good shampoo for them....so if anyone has ideas or if you found anything, please post (I will do the same).

There are pills and such they can take for help with shedding, but we are the type of people that are more all natural.....it is normal for them to shed and we don't know what the long term affect of taking a pill like that would do, so we have never tried it.
