Some Yorkie's talk alot by barking, I think you have to let them know what your limit is? And I don't think it matters what gender they are either, but they usually have a reason; On guard-my Personal Alarm System, to go "Pee Pee" or "Pooh"? They are'nt too demanding when it comes to "Treats" now, I got them off that addiction/obsession b/c it got to the point wher they were expecting one for every task. Artie barks non-stop when he gets frustrated or anxious to go to "Petsmart" or when he's playing and he gets excited, but he's not really a Barker, unlike Abigail who barks at every little noise or when we are watching TV. and she hears or sees a Dog barking or whining! She even attacks the TV. depending on how excited she gets? Most of the time I will let her know when I have had enough by reprimanding her with a loud "SHUSH" or "Hey" and she knows to stop!
