 Potty Training Help
Hi! I'm new to the group and a new yorkie owner. I've had Max now for almost 2 weeks. I've been trying to crate train him with no luck at all. I take him out every 1-2 hours, per my puppy book, but he rarely poohs/pees outside. He will do it almost immediately as soon as we get back inside. I know it's only been 2 weeks, but I'm starting to get really discouraged since we haven't made any progress at all. Any advice you all could give would be greatly appreciated.
Also, since he obviously prefers doing his business inside, should I start by training him with a pee pad first? If so how should I go about it? |
