IMO, if you can afford two then get two. I got my two 6 weweks apart, and it wasn't any harder to train two than one, in fact the younger one seemed to catch on quicker.

I trained them to pee pads, and outdoors. I have recently put in a doggie door, and they love it and so do I.

I do still keep them confined to the kitchen except in the evening when I am watching TV. They like to be on my lap.
