You would definetely know if she was in pain. She would whine a lot or move around a lot, or shake. If she's just snoozing and trying to heal I wouldn't give it to her. I also had pain meds, but I didn't give Coco more than like 2 and that was the first night, so she could sleep well. I don't like to stuff her with meds if she doesn't need it.
