Buddy was the correct color tan/black as a pup. He is now 2 1/2 and his
color is still changing. His legs/head are a rich copper and his back is fading
from black to silver or beige. I really can't tell! He never even came close to steel blue! That's the favored color.
He has a very silky coat. No course hairs anywhere.
When we went to the vet about a week ago, he was 5.3 pounds The vet said he is the biggest Yorkie he has ever seen hahaha. He always wants to eat..he will eat 5 times a day if i let him! of course, i only feed him 3 times a day but it doesn't seem to be enough for him.

i really can't wait for him to start changing colour i think every yorkie owner is the same in that sense

as for his hair. they are pretty easy to comb, not really a lot of matting as i comb him every day. i don't know if they are easy to comb because of the type of his coat or simply because they are short and is combed through everyday. the hair on top of his back just by the tail is pretty coarse right now.
