I agree with Lacy's Mom. You are her bond, you know her behavior better than anyone. Use your gut feeling and Sadie should have a long, healthy life.
I am so glad she has finally gotten the proper care and is going to be ok and so happy you have found a realible vet for her. It's such a shame that vet let her suffer for so long, and you, too, since you knew something was wrong. You never have to be afraid or ashamed to ask a question here. There are many, me for one, who know absolutely nothing about small breeds. There are far more who do and who will help you and support you in any way they can. This is such an awesome place.
