I guess it could be a form of separation anxiety - not being able to get to you while you are in the shower? I don't think she will harm herself by yapping, but hopefully she's not getting too worked up or stressed by your 'disappearance' behind the curtain. What about giving her something to do while you're in there to keep her occupied? Like a Kong filled with some healthy treats that she has to work at to get... or a bullystick or pigs ear (these keep my dogs occupied for hours). Just don't soothe her and talk sweetly to her when she's yapping - it'll just enforce her behavior. Be firm and tell her no. I don't know - I hope someone else can offer you more advice! Good luck!
